Deakin University awards Hirotec mechanical maintenance contract

Hirotec's facilities maintenance business has won a long term contract with Deakin University to provide Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) maintenance to all campuses. Intrinsic in Hirotec's service delivery model is the use of technology to provide a leading maintenance management solution to the University.

Paul Sicari, Hirotec's Finance & Corporate Services Director, said "This latest contract further cements our presence in the state of Victoria. Hirotec's use of technology and integration of customer information systems provides a key point of differentiation in this market"

Deakin is one of Australia's largest universities, providing all the resources of a major university to more than 32,000 award students. Deakin has campuses in the metropolitan area as well as in regional cities. The largest campus is located in Melbourne with other's Victoria's second largest city Geelong, and in the beautiful coastal city of Warrnambool.
