Hirotec release new environmentally friendly Blue Box chillers at ARBS 2006

ARBS 2006 in Sydney will see Hirotec release its new Blue Box environmentally friendly and highly efficient Echos and Energy range of air cooled and water cooled chillers. The use of R410a refrigerant in the Echos range ensures an eco-compatible chiller with a high COP. The Echos is an extremely versatile range which can be configured to suit specific applications. The built in storage tank simplifies plant layout and safeguards the compressors, and also facilitates ease of installation and ongoing maintenance.

The Kappa V Energy is an air cooled chiller using R134a refrigerant with a rotary screw compressor. The Kappa V Energy range is available from 347kW to 1482kW with low noise emissions, continuous capacity control, an innovative defrost system and high COP.

Furthermore, in a technology first, Blue Box has developed a range of multifunctional air cooled chillers that simultaneously meet the requirements of summer cooling, winter heating and the production of hot water for sanitary use. The benefits of the Factotum and Omicron chillers include high flexibility, environmental compatibility due to R407c refrigerant, energy efficiency through the recovery of heat rejection to heat water, and ease of installation and ongoing maintenance.
