Hirotec are proud and excited to announce that it was recently appointed as the Australian National University’s (ANU) Fire & Essential Services provider across all of its campuses in ACT and NSW. ANU seized the opportunity to harness Hirotec’s unique ITMS Mobility Solution, Data Capture and Electronic Reporting Systems in a competitive tendering process and partner with Hirotec for a 5 year period.

“This is without doubt, one of the largest single Fire & Essential Services contracts in the ACT and to have a significant and reputable institution like the ANU take a leap of faith with Hirotec when our Fire & Essential Services footprint was limited in the region, is quite an amazing feat and testament to our people and systems. We are very thankful and excited to be working with such a progressive client and this achievement not only gives Hirotec a great Essential Services market share expansion in the ACT, but further strengthens Hirotec’s position as the leader in the provision of Mechanical, Electrical and Fire Services in the education sector. We are now very fortunate to be partnering with 10 universities across Australia” said Hirotec’s General Manager Business Development Mr Walter Rafin.

“Hirotec is proud to boast a 95% client retention rate in a market where quality is sometimes sacrificed for price. Hirotec overcomes this dilemma by providing exceptional value to its clients through unique points of differentiation and service delivery. Furthermore, Hirotec does not rest on its laurels to be satisfied with distinction won by past achievements. Hirotec strives for further achievements as it did recently with Deakin University by reinventing the nature and substance of not only its relationship with Deakin but with the detail in the maintenance model adopted. This resulted in Hirotec being extended to maintain all mechanical services across Victoria for a further extended long term” said Hirotec’s General Manager Business Development, Walter Rafin. “In particular, the Deakin University extension demonstrates our strategic foothold in this key sector and reinforces our long term approach with clients.”

Hirotec are excited at having recently been appointed by Monash University as the mechanical and fire / essential services maintenance provider for various campuses across Victoria. Monash University took the opportunity to engage Hirotec across both HVAC and Essential Services disciplines as a means to take advantage of unique synergies with Hirotec’s Mobility and Reporting Systems.

“Monash University is a forward thinking, strategically poised institution that has some incredible plans to expand its services and build new and exceptional infrastructure to support this growth in the future. It was seeking to partner with an organisation that was equally as forward thinking and progressive in the services sector that could grow with them and share in their successes. We are so very proud to have been selected by Monash University as that organisation. Monash made a decision to not only grow Hirotec’s existing large footprint in the Victorian HVAC sector, but also to facilitate growth for Hirotec in the Victorian Fire market. Hirotec has become without doubt, the leading provider of MEF services in the education sector” said Hirotec’s General Manager, Business Development, Walter Rafin.

Hirotec was recently awarded the prestigious honour of partnering with the University of Western Sydney to deliver the Hawkesbury Forest experiment project.

The project is a carefully integrated program of experimental and modelling approaches. The centrepiece of the project is a field facility with 12 CO2 and temperature-controlled whole-tree chambers provided by the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. The whole-tree chambers can house entire trees up to 12 metres tall. This unique facility is the first of its type in Australia and the Southern Hemisphere.

Hirotec’s scope was to carefully develop and control the conditions in the chambers in order for the experiment’s to be successful.
