The University of Sydney (USYD) and Hirotec have developed a leading edge computer information system which exchange’s data “live”.

When Hirotec were awarded the University of Sydney’s mechanical and fire services maintenance contract, it was due to more than Hirotec’s on site abilities. Hirotec was the only organization that had demonstrated experience in exchanging data between the client and Hirotec’s system.

This has created more than just a typical mechanical and fire services contract, this has created a partnership that allows Hirotec to be part of USYD campus infrastructure services (CIS) team. Enabling “live” information to all USYD stakeholders.

Hirotec is no stranger to being recognised as a leader in innovation and technology. As an early adopter of PDA technology for usage in service field mobility, Hirotec was asked to be a guest speaker at the upcoming Australian Field Mobility Summit 2010.

Hirotec’s Walter Rafin, will present a Case Study titled “Integrated Services for a Technical World” showcasing how Hirotec implemented a complex, productive field service mobility solution in 2003 and the challenges and the latest in innovation development.

Hirotec recently launched their totally paperless Electronic Reporting & Maintenance System at the annual TEFMA gathering at Crowne Casino in Melbourne.

With Hirotec having such a big footprint in the Tertiary Education market, Hirotec felt it only pertinent that existing clients of Hirotec were able to see the system in action.
