Our People

Amongst Hirotecs greatest attributes is its highly skilled workforce of over 150 professionals. Hirotec employs the majority of its workforce directly rather than on a subcontract basis.

This enables two key advantages:

  • the ability of those workers to form strong relationships with customers, increasing the likelihood of repeat business from a customer; and
  • the retention and use by Hirotec of the skills and experience of its employees, developed during the execution of projects.

The trades team are supported by a client management structure that ensures a focus on service delivery and client requirements. This is achieved through a dedicated Manager responsible for both client liaison and oversight of operational outcomes.

Every Hirotec client has a dedicated Facilities Services Manager (FSM) whose responsibilities include ‘day to day’ client management together with oversight of contract deliverables — comprising direct line control of trade personnel and subcontractors employed in executing contracted services. Hirotec has employed this Client Management Structure to provide the FSM that interacts with the client direct responsibilty over contract delivery, thereby enabling effective control over operational outcomes.

Hirotec FSM’s are technical specialists whose skills are directly aligned to the type of contracts they manage, capable of providing operational advice to clients and the trade personnel they oversee. FSM’s are supported by Facilities Services Supervisor’s (FSS) who are field-based personnel experienced in provding guidance to field technicans. Hirotec’s operational teams allow for a 3:1 FSS to FSM ratio and a 6:1 technician to FSS ratio, per the following diagram:

The client management team is supported by an experienced Leadership Team at as state and national level.
